Le Meurice

One of the most distinguished 5-star hotels in Paris, Le Meurice is popular for its grandeur, making it a modern-day Palace of Versailles flanked by the Louvre, the Tuileries Garden, and the Place de la Concorde. The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant by legendary chef Alaine Ducasse.

The idyllic location and gorgeous French craftsmanship truly set Le Meurice apart from other hotels in the area. The upper-level rooms have a balcony and a park view, showcasing the best of Paris, whereas the rooftop offers panoramic 360-degree views of the city and its historical monuments.

[TEMPORARILY CLOSED] Westin Paris – Vendôme

An important update for 2026: the Westin Paris Vendôme closed in spring 2025 for a full renovation and is expected to reopen around 2028 under a new name, so it cannot be booked right now. I am keeping it here because it holds such a special place in my heart, and I will refresh this listing the moment it welcomes guests again.

One of the most luxurious landmark hotels, the Westin sat across from the Tuileries Garden and offered sweeping views of a gorgeous Parisian landscape, including the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, l’Assemblée nationale, and the Ferris Wheel. It lies pretty close to the glitzy and glamorous Place Vendôme, a hotspot for fashion, jewelry, and couture.

I stayed here many times, and it was one of my go-tos (plus they had a great bathroom!) Several scenes from Call My Agent were also filmed here. For a similar sweeping view across the Tuileries in the meantime, look at the Regina Louvre or Le Meurice just steps away.

Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris (formerly Hotel Lutetia)

The first true luxury hotel on the Left Bank, this grand hotel rebranded in 2025 as the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris, and it remains a wonderful space, made with a combo of Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture. The salons of this grand hotel once greeted Camus and Sartre, the jazz bar was lit up by Josephine Baker, and the suites were once occupied by Picasso and Matisse!

The real gem, though, is the terrace above the glass roof, offering some of the most spectacular views of the city as well as its landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Penthouse Suite has a private balcony and a rooftop terrace for enjoying drinks and meals under the stars while watching the Iron Lady glitter all night long.

Hôtel Le Cercle Tour Eiffel

Le Cercle is an uncluttered and cozy hotel with everything you might need for a refreshing Parisian stay. It also comes with some of the coolest Eiffel Tower views from its open balconies. The rooms have plush queen-sized beds and minimal, contemporary decor that adds to their charm.

The Eiffel Tower View Classic Room has a private balcony where guests can enjoy meals and drinks against an unobstructed view of the glittering Iron Lady.

Hôtel Duquesne Eiffel

A former military boarding house turned hotel, Duquesne Eiffel is set on a quiet, leafy street within walking distance from Les Invalides and the Rodin Museum. The four premium rooms on the hotel's upper level offer beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower, though some are fairly small.

Keep in mind that the hotel does not have wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Hôtel Le Walt Paris (by Inwood Hotels)

A chic hotel with designer interiors, Hôtel Le Walt Paris, now operated by Inwood Hotels, is located opposite École Militaire and a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and Napoleon’s Tomb. The hotel is located in the heart of the 7th Arrondissement and is a street away from the famous Rue Cler market.

The rooms are decorated with sophisticated reproductions of the artwork from the Louvre and create sensory experiences based on the French Art of Living. The room with an Eiffel Tower view comes equipped with an opening window overlooking the city, offering a clear view of almost half of the Tower.

Hôtel La Bourdonnais Paris

Hôtel La Bourdonnais Paris pays homage to a traveler’s dream of living in a chic Parisian hotel with its quaint art and decor, majestic furnishings, and luxurious yet refined service. The Eiffel Tower Executive Room on the upper floors comes with a small balcony overlooking the Iron Lady and the city's signature Haussmann rooftops.

Now operated by Inwood Hotels, it reopened in March 2026 after a full refurbishment. With its central location, the hotel is within walking distance of both the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides.

Inspired by the literary salons of the 18th century, the Hôtel La Comtesse Paris enjoys a prime location near the Eiffel Tower. Some rooms come with a balcony, but in most, you can watch over the Iron Lady from the comfort of your bed.

Hôtel Le Cinq Codet

Le Cinq Codet is a very chic, 5-star hotel located between the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides Museum. A contemporary space on the Left Bank, Le Cinq Codet has large bay windows and portholes inspired by the ocean liners of days gone by.

Among the suites dedicated to art and culture are the Rodin, Codet, Dôme, and Eiffel Suites, each better than the next, offering exceptional views of the Golden Dome of Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.

Hôtel SAX Paris

Opened in spring 2025, SAX Paris is the first Parisian address for Hilton’s luxury LXR collection, set inside a beautifully reimagined 1899 neo-Gothic building that once housed the Ségur telephone exchange. The five-star hotel brings 118 rooms and suites, a heated outdoor pool, and a spa to a quiet corner of the 7th, just a stone’s throw from the tower.

The real showstopper is the eighth-floor rooftop, home to a Kinugawa restaurant, where the Eiffel Tower fills the skyline while you sip and dine. If you want a brand-new luxury stay right in the tower’s own neighborhood, this is the one to watch.

Paris Hotels with an Eiffel Tower View in the 8th Arrondissement

[MOVED & RENAMED] Le 12 Hôtel (formerly Hotel WO – Wilson Opera)

Heads up, this one has changed hands. The hotel I originally listed as Hotel WO – Wilson Opera near the Saint-Lazare Station now operates under a new name, Le 12 Hôtel (you may also see it called Le WO), and my booking link redirects straight to it. It is still a warm, welcoming boutique option within walking distance of the Opéra Garnier and the Grands Boulevards, with rooms on the upper floors whose balconies open onto an Eiffel Tower vista.

Since it is a mid-range boutique hotel, some rooms are downright tiny (just like those blogs you read about Parisian hotels!), but if you book a larger, superior-level room, it should fare well for your stay.

Le Pavillon des Lettres Hôtel

One of the first literary hotels in Paris, Le Pavillon des Lettres Hotel is a unique boutique hotel with 26 rooms, each dedicated to the writings and poetry of a different author. Hôtel Balzac & Spa Ikoï

Located just off the Champs-Élysées, the Balzac is a 5-star boutique hotel perfect for both business and leisure travelers. It reopened in June 2024 as Hôtel Balzac Paris & Spa Ikoï after a full renovation that added a spa and a pool. One of the many places that the famous French writer Honoré de Balzac lived in, the hotel has pretty much everything you might need during your holiday, including a dreamy view of the Eiffel Tower from a number of its suites!

The Royale Suite offers one of the best views, while the Presidential Suite is on the rooftop, offering views of the city and surrounding landmarks.

Hôtel Grand Powers

An elegant 5-star boutique hotel dating back to the 1920s, Hôtel Grand Powers is located in the heart of Paris's Golden Triangle, in the bustling 8th Arrondissement, near Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées.

Within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe, the hotel is a symbol of quintessential Parisian charm, with beautifully decorated rooms, some offering views of the Eiffel Tower.

Norman Paris Hôtel & Spa is a sophisticated 5-star hotel located just a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe. The rooftop terrace and bar look straight across to the Iron Lady, and the whole hotel sits within a short stroll of the Trocadéro esplanade for those postcard photo angles.

It is a smart mid-to upper-range pick in one of the very best view neighborhoods in the city, and a great option if the palace hotels are out of budget but you still want that rooftop wow moment.

Terrass” Hotel
