J’adore #65
J’adore is dedicated to fun finds, culinary delights, got-to-have gadgets, and other lifestyle must-haves that I find via my digital travels. Products also travel to my doorstep and I am such a fan, I want to share them!

Sometimes J’adore is dedicated to a theme, like #64 dedicated to coffee cups or #63 dedicated to Frenchie Finds. This time, I’ve got an interesting mix of items all somewhat related to food (but not all food).

Lorena Garcia’s New Taco Classics

It's only after living in the San Francisco Bay Area so long that I have truly been able to develop an appreciation for the large variety of tacos there are in the world! With street tacos being the original trucks, the food truck scene has much to be thankful for.
I can have a different taco every day of the week in San Francisco and they are all delicious! It is one of the reasons why I was thrilled when Lorena Garcia's latest cookbook, New Taco Classics launched. Because (a) I am such a Top Chef fangirl and (b) she is the queen of tacos!
Milkfly Felt Whole Roasted Chicken

Spotted on The View from Great Island, I am totally in love with the work of Huong Huynh of Milkfly! Her Etsy shop is full of adorable felt renditions of some of my preferred noshes including francophile favorites like the cheese souffle, macarons, and a fun cheese platter, but my FAVORITE is the roasted chicken!
Noosa Yoghurt

Mr. Misadventures has two new food addictions at the moment. One is Sahale Snacks (read about my work with them) and the other is Noosa Yoghurt. Usually, it's my hubby that goes and picks up the deliveries at our mailbox when companies offer me food samples.
Little did I know that depending on what gets shipped to me, I may not get it in one piece. By the time I got home from work in the evening the Noosa Yoghurts arrived at our house, Mr. Misadventures had already eaten two containers! He is now eating about two a day and can't tell me enough how much he loves them (I like them too!).
Golden Island Jerky

Since I am outing my hubby on one of his food addictions, I have to share one of mine! Jerky. I love it. All of it. Any kind of meat (salmon, bison, beef…) and practically any flavor. It just has to be good ingredients. I am not talking about the gas station or convenience store variety!
I recently tried out four of the Golden Island Jerky flavors and definitely want to try the rest! My favorite was the sriracha one which I brought with me on the plane to New York this past weekend because I love sriracha anything!
That’s it for this edition of J’adore!
How about you? What are you currently adoring?
In addition, for some items, I received samples. I ONLY share the ones I like!}
That felt food is FABULOUS!
I LOVE ALL FOODS. I WENT THROUGH A STAGE FOR A LITTLE BIT I DIDN’T WANT ANYTHING. BUT IT’S A STAGE EVERYTHING TASTED FUNNY. BUT THAT STAGE IS GONE AND I JUST WANT TO EAT ANYTHING I CAN GET MY HANDS ON.
Ooh I love Noosa too!! I wish i could find it more in my area!! The midwest can be so picky with certain items! I am totally all over anything and everything pumpkin… because I can be 😉 Minus the PSL’s that everyone loves… I am a hater of those lol!!
The yogurt sounds amazing and thank you for sharing your review. Currently I am on a popcorn kick LOL
I love kitchen gadgets! I need to get over there and have a look around 🙂
im embracing yogurt since whats good for the tummy is also good for down-there, i just gave birth and into the process of healing, so yeah… but Im not into cooking, the hubby cooks for the family but im recently inlove with Jamie Oliver’s way of putting up something scrumptious out of scrap – cheeses and stuff. so now, im ‘studying’ and experimenting on how to cook simple meals and cute versatile kitchen gadgets makes cooking easy and fun especially with a toddler as a helper. 🙂
That Noosa yoghurt is so addicting. It simply isn’t possible to resist. I’m digging all the great fall vegs right now. I’m a big fan of butternut squash and pumpkin.
Fun post and we do love tacos – so I’ll have to get Lorena Garcia’s latest cookbook, New Taco Classics for him for Christmas fun – and fun addictions you have
I am really into goat’s cheese right now – not quite as sexy sounding! lol
I’m currently adoring life. We got some happy news last week so I’m just soaking it all in and enjoying.
That yogurt just sounds amazing!
I have never heard of this. It looks great though!
The felt roasted chicken is so cute. I haven’t tried Noosa; I hope I can find it in our local stores.
I’m currently adoring the new Suunto watch collection. Do you love watches, Andi?
The coffee shop down the street has the BEST French Vanilla… I get it with a shot of hazelnut and it is SO good.
Noosa is a recent addiction of mine too, I love the strawberry rhubarb flavor!
I LOVE ANYTHING FOOD. I HAVE WENT THROUGH A STAGE WHERE I DIDN’T WANT ANY FOOD. BUT NOW IM BACK ON TRACK FOR EATING.
Sahale snacks are so delicious! This is perfect for any foodie!
Wow! That Milkfly Felt Whole Roasted Chicken looks amazing! I checked out her other work too, and she makes super cute things.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing

Hey !
I love kitchen gadgets! I need to get over there and have a look around 😉 🙂
Thanks For Sharing 😛
What a realistic felt chicken! haha! Love it! My most recent food addiction is TJ’s Ghost Pepper potato chips! (My mouth is watering just writing about them!) I am not usually a chip girl, except if I’m in the UK, but these are beyond mind blowing! I don’t know what they are putting in them, but once I get started I can’t put them down! I’m sort of glad they’re only short lived at TJs as I’d eat too many bags! 🙁
Oh my gosh, that Milkfly Felt Whole Roasted Chicken is amazing. I just browsed her shop and wow, she is so talented!
felt food, very realistic. Noosa is my favorite, strawberry rhubarb.
It all looks delicious!
I need to try that jerky! 🙂 i’m obsessed with trying them all.
The Golden Island Jerky sounds and look so good. I really love the felt work of the Etsy artist. Such a cute and unique idea!
