J’adore #4
Back again with a few things I spotted that captured my eye and wanted to share with you.
Spotted on Paris Boutique Hotel I absolutely adore this vintage luggage turned into a settee! I am a fan of giving everyday items that can get a second life and this one is so unique.

Not only that but Lynn's photo for this piece led me to a fascinating new site called Pinterest. It is a site based on user-generated content of items that people like aesthetically. It's pretty neat!

It has been a long time since I have been camping and I can't say I was ever a huge fan. When I did camp I was highly organized and there were definitely no beans and wieners for me! The food was always gourmet.
These days, if I think about whether I want to camp again the idea, makes me tired…hauling all that stuff out to somewhere, unpacking, repacking, and then getting it home, cleaned, and put back away…a lot of work! But, if I could camp in something like this…..

I honestly have no idea why photos of dogs have piqued my interest lately. I have no intent on getting one at this time in my life, Jessica would kill me, but every time I see a picture(s) like this, I can't help myself from taking a moment to ooh and ahh:

This radish truffle butter looks so amazing, I need to get my husband to make this. Fresh radishes served with butter are a common appetizer in France, but I have not thought about making or serving them this way, it looks like heaven. I think my butter-loving pal, Julie would like this:

My wardrobe is mainly shades of black, white, and gray but I have a current fascination with caramel shoes, both light, and dark. I recently bought a pair of beautiful light caramel sandals that can look good with black, but I can't really justify picking up additional pairs when black makes more sense.
Still, I love these shoes from Chloé spotted on The Cherry Blossom Girl:

I leave you with some good thoughts that I found on Andrea's blog. I agree with the sentiment and this photo is a good one to print out and put on my desk:

That's it for the latest edition, tell me, is this post series something you like?
Oh, I adore that settee! And the shoes are fabulous. And since brown is my black, I may have to look at them a bit closer!
Can’t wait to see you in January (wow, that is far away yet!)
@Jody, funny, we have similar coloring, but I never think brown looks good on me!
I know you lured me here with the butter. But, the chair and the dog do it for me, too. I get the shoes, but they’re so not me. The words of WISDOM at the bottom…are perfection.
I love, love, love this new series.
@Julie, I did lure you in 😉 I love that chair!
I LOVE this post! And I have to have that chair, ahhhhhh!!! Those shoes rock as well. 🙂
@AndiP, I know I want that chair, no idea where I’d put it, but it’s adorable.
The suitcase chair is the best find yet.
I LOVE that chair!! I can picture it in a feminine bedroom, right by a girly dresser.
@Carolyn, I love it, I was thinking about the vintage suitcases that look more like dark caramel leather – that would go in my house – it has got me thinking about getting one done!
These are fabulous! I too love Pinterest. I use it to keep track of things that inspire me.
@Kristine, thanks!
I have seen this luggage made into dog beds, but this chair is FAB! And I am a huge Vintage Lover so I think your shoes are adorable!
I love the sentiment and agree
