Time for another edition of J’adore where I share things I spot on my internet travels.
It is sort of like virtual window shopping and its fun! Of course I have to do is cruise Pinterest for any amount of time and satisfy my “shopping” needs but I try to avoid using Pinterest as my source for these posts, that would be too easy! In reality I spot things all the time but forget to note them which is why it seems I only do these on an irregular basis!
Here is what I did remember to note!
Ever wonder where some of your favorite French dishes come from? No? It’s just me? Yeah right! I am loving this French food map presented by SBS. Where does your favorite dish come from?
Spotted on Photo Jojo I love this use of old CD jewel cases, it is an awesome way to recycle and makes a cute photo accessory for your desk
I am a big proponent of exposing children to different cultures in an effort to raise global citizens. It is not always done through travel and when that is an impossibility, the knowledge and experiences can be found in books. That is why I love this new book by Kathryn Starke which details the journey’s of a little girl names Amy throughout the world.
When I first got my iPad2 I spent hours trying to find a case. I wanted something that was beyond the usual boring black leather. I ended up getting that boring case, but I am always on the lookout for fun new ones. I love this composition notebook one I spotted on Daily Candy:
I am not getting married again, but I absolutely love this idea for a guestbook. I mean how many times does the guestbook get dumped into a box only to gather dust? With this jenga version, found on Love, Lipstick and Pearls, you can “re-visit” the messages from your friends and family each time you play the game:
When Jin Jun sat down at my breakfast table on Saturday morning during BlogHer, I don’t think she expected to meet someone so enthusiastic about her product! You see a am a huge fan of seaweed, I take it with my on all my travels. No need to raid the very expensive hotel snack bar for chips when I have my trusty Sea Snax! I eat at least a package a day, but what I didn’t realize was how healthy they were. I mean I knew they were good for me, but I didn’t know how good until after my conversation with Jin!
That’s it for this edition of J’adore.
How about you? Seen anything recently that you want to share?

That iPad case is TOO cute, I think I might have to get one for mine… And I love that idea of using the CD jewel cases as frames, I have so many of those just sitting around that I could use!! 🙂 Are they attached with tape, you think?

@Sara, I am not sure how they are attached, but I bet you that you could ask Photojojo and they would let you know.
