Reading | Brotherhood in Death by JD Robb.
> Finished Devoted in Death by JD Robb also as well as NYPD Red 4 by James Patterson – both quick reads, I have been reading these authors for years.
Working On | A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
> I've got lots of pots on the oven, hoping not to burn anything.
Feeling | Excited.
> The WITs conference is coming up and I'll get to see friends like Katie and Lois. Besides speaking at the conference I am also participating in the mentor sessions, so if you are attending and want to spend one-on-one time with me.
Planning | Beyond June.
> We have our route planned through the end of May when we will be heading on a Viking River Cruise to Lisbon, Portugal. Now we are working on mid-June through the rest of the year (you can keep up with it in the ‘On My Way' section in my sidebar and on Instagram).
Loving | Just about everything.
> I am still acclimating to life on the road in the RV, but I don't have a lot of complaints.
My Favorite Photo | Typical Mr. Misadventures.
> Seriously. This is why I have to do photo-reconnaissance with him. When he is scouting photo opportunities he doesn't think about what he is stepping in, laying on, or walking through. I go with him the first day or two we arrive at a new spot because I want to see what the “dangers” are so when he is out there alone (especially for sunset, because I like to sleep) I know what he can get himself into!
What is CURRENTLY going on with you?

I hope you’ll review your Viking River cruise. DH and I love the idea of cruising, but we just had an awful experience on Norwegian Cruiseline in the Mediterranean, which has turned us off of ocean cruising. We live in Europe, so river cruising is quite convenient, and I’m curious to hear others’ experiences with it before we try it.
@Sage, I definitely will. It will be my first river cruise. We have cruised once about every other year and just had a disastrous trip at Christmas in the Caribbean which had me swearing off cruises for awhile, but I am giving the river one a chance.
I love the JD Robb books, they are an awesome read and not hard to get into either.
@Judy, I agree, she just needs to write them faster! 🙂
It sounds like you must have some pretty exciting adventures living life on the road (or boat)! lol My day to day is simply filled with kids for now and trying to be the best Mom (while still having fun). lol
I am also keeping up with the presidential race, it has proven to be very interesting this time around. I am interested in the book that you are reading as I just finished a novel so need another. Life for me is pretty average right now, just working away as always.
@Jennifer, yes the debates have been really interesting. No matter which way you lean you have to agree that they have been much more interesting than last tme!
Ooooh I wish you were driving through NC and could meet my little monkey!
@Andi, and see the new house!
We haven’t been watching the actual Presidential debates, but both my husband and I have been watching the election coverage every chance we get. How good are the JD Robb books by the way? I enjoy Nora Roberts’ romance novels but have never picked up one of her crime novels to try for myself.
@Cassie, I like Nora Roberts books as well. Do you like police/detective novels in general? If you do, I think you will like JD Robb’s Eve Dallas series, plus their is of course a central love story as well.
I’ve heard good things about that show The 100. I would have to check that one out. And lovely photo! Is that in New Mexico? The White Sands monument? I would love to see that in person!
@Janna, yes White Sands. We really loved the 100 and are waiting the latest season to hit Netflix!
I love that image! We watch Sherlock and it is one of our faves. I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long in between seasons.
@Jess, agree! That third season was a bit weird though!
Haha yes it was. The special they had recently was too but it was so good.
That’s a great photo of Mr. Misadventures – very cool setting. I’ve always wanted to get into James Patterson books. There are a ton of them at my favorite used book store. Currently, I am trying to make time to catch up on reading, art and Netflix binges.
@Yona, James Patterson has so many and he has been writing for so long that you should be able to find old ones cheap!
The only presidential debates we watched was when Eat24 (I think) was having a contest for how many times Trump said the word “Mexican.” Sad, I know… I love that photo of him in action! I do that sometimes, but not quite so extreme. Maybe I should! I could get better shots, right? 😉 Currently, I’m playing catchup on housework and work period. Not too exciting!
@Jenn, oh man, missed the Eat24 campaign, that is awesome (ok and a little sad), makes watching them more interesting!
I know a photographer like that. Anything to get the right angle and his photos come out amazing!
I think you left off “Nashville” from your “Beyond June” plan…?
@Kristin, oh no, it’s definitely going to be there. It looks like October the way things are laying out. I will definitely let you know!
Ahhhh! SOOOOOO JEALOUS of Portugal!!!!!
@Katie, I can’t wait, it’s been a long time since I have been and it should be a lot of fun to see it from a river.
