Watching | The Colony
> I love this new show! Season 2 started this week, but I will have to wait until that's available on Netflix. I feel like Josh Holloway hasn't aged a day since Lost, anyone else think so? Also catching up on episodes of Designated Survivor as well as downloading episodes of Top Chef Season 14, which I will start watching soon. I like to watch several episodes together rather than wait week-to-week.

Reading | The Remedy for Love by Bill Roorbach.

> Have you ever read a book that you weren't quite sure if you liked it, but you can't put it down? The Remedy for Love is just like that. Two very unlikely people are stuck in a snowstorm and the dynamic between the two characters is fascinating. I've been expanding my book horizons by using BookBub. I got The Perfume Collector from there as well as a few others I've recently read.

My Mom sent me an invite a long time ago, but it was only until this past fall that I actually tried it out. I get Kindle books anywhere from $0.99-$2.99 or sometimes even free. I find myself getting a book once or twice a week and I'm loving it. You get an email every day with a list of books. The only gotcha is you have to buy it that day. I have tried to go back the next day and have been amazed that a book being offered for $1.99 is now $14.99 or more!

Working On | Cleaning my digital life.
> I've had a Yahoo email account for my personal correspondence for 20 years. With the latest hack (because there have others) I am definitively closing my account. However, it is not as easy as all that. I've got 20 years of emails because I now realize that I may be a minimalist when it comes to the real world, but apparently I am a packrat with it comes to digital.

Plus every account, online shopping, social media tool, banking etc I had or used over 20 years has an email address associated to that account to log on. And that has to be changed (otherwise I would not be able to perform a “forgot password” function). It has taken me SO much time to get everything switched. I am nearly there!

Feeling | Wary.
> I found a post on my Facebook feed that caught my attention. It directed me to a post on a radio blog about a very scary and important issue involving a website called Family Tree Now. I followed the steps and was shocked at how much information was available there. I know there is a lot of publicly available information out there, which is annoying, but at least in this instance, you can opt-out. Follow the instructions in the post to get a little peace of mind.

Planning | Project DISCOVER.
> I've got big goals this year. Find a job is first. After that I am looking forward to discovering Portland, figuring out regular exercise stuff – I've got lots of weight to lose, and getting back into a normal blog rhythm.

Loving | The West Coast
> Our tiny foray into the South and East reminds me of how much of a West Coast girl I am. It's great to be back. I look forward to visiting other parts of the U.S. but keeping my home-base west of the Rockies!

My Favorite Photo | Ikura.

Ikura in a beautiful bowl

> I continued to have constant iPhone issues in which my phone would die, so I did not take a lot of photos. We had a mind-altering sushi experience in Las Vegas. Part of the meal was a nigiri service including ikura. Ikura are salmon eggs, and they need to really fresh to be good. These were delectable. Mr. Misadventures is not a big fan, so he gave me his. Worked out because the next item was uni (sea urchin) not my favorite, but my hubby loves it.

What is CURRENTLY going on with you?
