Maui – Leoda’s Kitchen & Pie Shop

After a full day of farm tours, on my last evening in Maui driving back to the Napili Kai Beach Resort I hit up Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop for dinner (and dessert). I had that little voice in my head that prevented me from just eating [sweet] pie so I ordered the Hamakua mushroom pie pictured above.

It was my last chance to have Hamakua mushrooms for who knows how long and I am glad I listened to my inner mother.

So there was no guilt when I ate this entire chocolate macadamia nut pie for dessert!

Everything at Leoda's (who serves amazing breakfasts as well) is too-die-for. A dangerous place to visit, as you can easily begin a daily habit. It is not the easiest place in the world and it is super easy to miss unless you are looking for it. I recommend using a GPS or smartphone to find it otherwise you may drive right by!

Address: 820 Olowalu Village Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761

How about you? Know of an amazing spot that serves killer pies? Tell me about it!

I’ve been to Kauai a few times but never Maui… but I’ve been known to travel great distances for food so Maui has just been added to my list. That macadamia nut chocolate pie looks insane! Great call on saving it for dessert 🙂

  2. I moved to Maui last fall and LOVE Leoda’s – I’ve enjoyed the chocolate mac nut pie you posted. Also, their Pork, Pork, MMMM, Pork sandwich is ridiculous!

I’d love to try a mushroom pie. I bet they’d taste like beef pot pies but even better.
