Watching | The Last Kingdom
> I'm telling ya, Netflix is teaching this world traveler a thing or two about world history! I had no idea of how long and how deep the conflict between Denmark and England was until watching The Last Kingdom. It is truly fascinating and once again I wished there were more than 3 seasons! We also rewatched The Crown and just started the Tudors which we hadn't see before. Totally into historical series at the moment! At the theatres, we saw the latest Robin Hood and The Mule.

Reading | Leverage in Death
> In September I wrote about discovering books 4 and 5 of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, but then promptly forgot about them. It was only after searching around in my Kindle that I “found” them again and I finished The Girl in the Spider's Web and am into The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye. I wanted to finish them before seeing the movie with Claire Foy. It already left our local theatre, but I will catch it on Netflix. I was sad they didn't use the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo cast members Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, but we will see how Queen Elizabeth does!

Working On | A New Business Project
> My new business partner Liz and I successfully did a trial run of our collaboration event at Mountain Shadows Resort this month and we are ready to solidify plans and launch our business in 2019!

Feeling |  Ready for 2019!
> With recent projects and a renewed focus on SEO I am inspired to make 2019 the best yet for Misadventures with Andi! It is my last year of my 40's so it feels like I should make something happen!

Planning |  Local Explorations
> For the first time in a long time, Mr. Misadventures and I are sticking around during the holiday break. Like this year, I'm usually working for a tech company that has an annual shutdown between Christmas Eve and January 2nd. And we usually take off to France or some other far corner of the world, but this year we are sticking around and are going to be exploring more of the Phoenix area since the weather has cooled down and we are going to nest a bit.

Loving |  Our new truck!

> Never in a million years would I imagine myself as a truck owner, but our weekend in the North Rim of the Grand Canyon with the Denali Canyon and checking out the trucks at the Denali & Dogs event in Ojai convinced me otherwise and Mr. Misadventures and I are the proud new owners of a Canyon All Terrain! We can go on our long road trips and offroad/4x4ing in comfort! The Jeep is definitely a utility car that was great for our RVing, but it is so uncomfortable that we cringe if we have to drive more than 2 hours in it, and that was cramping our style!

My Favorite Photo | Cape Perpetua, Oregon

Andi at Cape Perpetua

While RVing we spent 5 weeks on the Oregon coast and really loved it. But winter on the coast is my jam and the smile on my face in this photo tells it all! The Oregon coast in the winter is prone to rain and storms, but the greens are more vibrant, the beaches and parks are more dramatic and you practically have the place to yourself. I will be writing about my 1-week trip in January so stay tuned!

That's my month, what's CURRENTLY going on with you?

  9. December has been a busy month for me as well in terms of catching up on life since I’ve been in school this past semester. Of course, some of the things I am catching up on include watching streaming TV and other side projects that were put on hold. I had hoped to read for pleasure but that got put on the back burner. You seem to have had an amazing month and year! Best wishes for 2019!

  10. Have you watched You or Dirty John yet? Both two binge-worthy shows you need to put on your list! I’ll add The Last Kingdom to ours as we eagerly await the last season of Game of Thrones.

Currently reading: All the Missing Girls (so good!) and just finished This Is How It Always Is (definitely a must-read).
