RV Travels: Weekly Wanderings #31 – Portland

It's not Portland, it's HOTland!
We have been boiling to death here. Okay, an exaggeration, we have air-conditioning in the RV, but we want to be out and about in Portland, and the weather hasn't been playing nice!

But you know what this city has a lot of? Coffee shops! We don't have awesome wifi in the RV park (what else is new) so we have been spending hot afternoons working in the coffee shops while exploring the various neighborhoods of our potential new hometown.
And we've been eating. A lot of eating. I am making up for months and months of culinary deprivation and Portland is filling the gap: Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Southern, and more. It's a good thing we are leaving on Sunday, we might run out of money!
Just kidding. Not really.
We visited the Japanese Gardens and the Rose Gardens and a few other parks along the river, but it is really hot, so we don't last long!
Palouse is up next before heading to Montana and we are kind of happy about getting out of the city again. The routine starts to feel like a normal everyday routine and we are still on our sabbatical and don't want to feel normal yet!

Columbia River RV Park – Portland, Oregon.

Wow, I’ve never been to Portland but I’d love to go there now
Apparently, a lot of my generational peers live in Portland. Unfortunately, like a lot of cities, the cost of living is real expensive.
Never been to Portland but have always wanted to visit though maybe not this time of year! lol Stay hydrated!
