Watching | Blacklist Season 3
> Hooray for strong wifi! We've been able to stream from Netflix so we are catching up on some shows. We've watching Blacklist and have seen the first few episodes of Designated Survivor and The Walking Dead. Up next is Longmire and The 100.

Reading | When in French by Lauren Collins.

> I quickly read the latest J.D. Robb thriller, Apprentice in Death and now I'm slowly making my way through When in French. I'm having a bit of a tough time because Lauren Collins, married to a French man trying to figure out the French culture and the French language while living in Switzerland, is having a tough time and doesn't appear to (yet) be a fan of Switzerland. My experiences were kind of the exact opposite and it's like I'm having an inner fight with the book's author while reading it!

Working On | Finding peace.
> Lots and lots of people lose pets, but after a month, I still find myself looking for my baby girl in the RV. It's tough and it has impacted my writing, I haven't been into blogging and have just wanted to keep busy and distracted.

Feeling | Warm.
> I hate hot weather and humidity. My perfect temperature is 70. We are doing lots of things in the morning and escaping the afternoon heat inside or at the movies.

Planning | The last two months of Project Escape.
> This is it, we leave Key West on December 1 and will be making our way back west for the last two months on the road while also escaping the heat. We've got trips planned to Las Cruces, Joshua Tree, and Zion before landing in Portland.

Loving | Seafood.
> It's nice to back on the water. Both Mr. Misadventures and I have lived near water nearly all of our adult lives. To see the ocean again and have access to fresh seafood has been really nice. It's stone crab season so I will be partaking as much as possible!

My Favorite Photo | Tomatoes.

tomatoes

> The only good thing about staying in Red Bay was the magnificent tomatoes we got every other day from a farm stand in town. They come from the Tennessee mountains and I fear they will be the last decent tomatoes we see until we make it back to Portland.

  1. 1. I quit the Walking Dead after the first episode this season. Not due to the characters they killed off — and I absolutely adore Jeffrey Dean Morgan as an actor — but the gratuitous violence finally crossed a line for me. (I’ll admit — it did a long while ago, but this one was IT.)
    2. No one expects your grief for Jessica to disappear. She was family. Though the pain won’t always be acute, you will always miss her. 🙁
    3. I’m living near the sea for the first time in my life and I love it. I know I don’t take near enough advantage of the food, but now I’m not sure I can imagine choosing to living very far from the ocean once we’re done with the military.

    1. @Katie, the hubby downloaded the first two episodes of TWD so that’s what we watched, but I won’t be watching anymore. I was not a fan of last season and it is worse now! If I can’t be by the sea, I need to be by some body of water. Portland is kind of perfect for that. The rivers are everywhere surrounding the city and the coast is just 3 hours away.

  2. I never watched TWD before but I am such a fan of JDM that I’m planning to catch up so I can watch him in action. ? I just love J.D. Robb and I just found the perfect home that my husband and I are hoping to buy. It’s wonderful here. It’s getting chilly here in the northeast but having grown up here and then lived a lot of my adult life in Colorado, I don’t mind at all. ?

    1. @Melissa, JDM plays a pretty horrific character so you may not want to watch it! Congrats on finding and buying your home, that’s fantastic! I love J.D. Robb but I read them too fast and always want one more!

  3. I just watched the whole first season of UNreal, and now Scott and I are midway through Westworld. Also watching You’re The Worst as I photo edit. After a year of not much TV, I’m trying to cram it all in now that my travels are slowing a bit for the winter!

    1. @Kristin, I hear mixed reviews on Westworld, I need to look at it more closely. I’ve still got a lot of series I need to catch up on once we are in a stable spot with regular internet.
