J’adore Frenchie Finds March 2021

Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, meaning if you book or buy something through one of these links, I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you!). Opinions are always my own and I’ll never promote something I don’t use or believe in.

If you are looking for ideas for Easter’s gifts for Francophiles, I’ve got you covered. If you have a France lover or Frenchie wannabe in your life with a birthday, or another special occasion event, these will work for you as well! You really don’t need a holiday to buy your favorite Francophile a little something, something, trust me, they will be “très content” with any of these gifts.

Before we get into all the things, here are 2 additional Frenchie things I wanted to share. First is a nice mention in the Stasher blog. Misadventures with Andi was listed as a top blog about Paris to check out for 2021 – merci! And have you seen the latest Air France safety video? If you have never been on an Air France flight you have likely seen their very creative safety videos, but you don’t have to book a ticket to enjoy it, you can check out the video on YouTube!

Now onto this month’s French Finds!

Pour La Maison (For the Home)

Paris Cityscape Frame

Anthropologie Paris City Frame

I used to live a few blocks away from an Anthropologie store when I lived in Berkeley, California. I got into a habit of checking out their sales, a habit I have continued to do with their online store. Their regular-priced items are a bit pricey for me, but I always watch for the sales as they quite often have a lot of French-lifestyle-inspired items and I am always hoping they don’t sell out before they go on sale! I love this Paris City Frame which is listed in their sale section (although I am not seeing what the discount is!) it would be cute on its own like it is shown above or with a photo from one of my trips to Paris.

Petit Dejeuner Glass

Anthropologie Petit Dejeuner Juice Glasses

OMG, I want this WHOLE set of adorable juice glasses! I was all set to order the J’taime one, but the Cou Cou one is calling my name as well! At $7.95 each, I could buy them all and the set would make a great gift.

Compagnie De Provence Marseille Extra Pur Liquid Soap

Anthropologie Compagnie De Provence Marseille Extra Pur Liquid Soap

$20 for hand soap sounds crazy, right? But there is soap and fancy soap. Of course, I would want to wash my hands with this soap all day long, but I think I would save for the last soap wash of the day so that I could go to bed with hands that smell like mimosas, which is such a heavenly scent.

Vetements (Clothing) + Mode (Fashion)

J.CREW Sales

Frenchie Finds from J Cew

Every weekend I get notifications for sales happening on J.Crew and I usually can pick up fabulous Frenchie fashion finds at very good prices. I hit the jackpot this month and wish I could share them, but they are all now sold out. If you love French-inspired clothing or have a friend who does, I HIGHLY recommend you check every week. You can pick items up at a severe discount and hold onto them until a special occasion comes up.

Ciao Journals

Anthropologie Ciao Journals

I might have mentioned this before, but I kind of collect journals. I have a lot of empty ones that are waiting for my thoughts and notes. It doesn’t prevent me from buying more! Especially when I see ones on sale, like these Ciao Journals from Anthropologie. Of course, I would love it if all 3 were the French ones, but I will keep the Italian and British ones for gifts for friends who are Anglophones and Italophiles.

Say Something in French Hotel Magique Mini Journal

Anthropologie Say Something in French Hotel Magique Mini Journal

I always have a small notebook with me when I travel so that I can quickly jot down notes (and don’t feel like typing them out on my phone).  I still like to write notes digital-free and this mini journal from Hotel Magique (a collaboration with Anthropologie like Clare V.)

Clare V. for Anthropologie Francophile Journal

Anthropologie Clare V. for Anthropologie Francophile Journal

There were 3 Clare V. journals on sale around the Christmas holidays and this is the only style that is left (on sale!). Orange may not be your favorite color, but it will stand out and you won’t lose it on your desk or bookshelf.

Livres (Books)

Gifts for Francophiles Books

Books make the perfect gift for francophiles, I love books set in Paris or about Paris or French life and foods. Here are NEW releases that your Francophile friends and/or family member may not have yet:

Pour Les Enfants

collage of toys and books for kids

This is Paris

I have always been a fan of providing opportunities for children to expand their cultural horizons and travel via books. “This Is Paris” Children’s Guide Book by M. Sasek is part of a wonderful collection of books about cities in the US and all over the world.

Mona Lisa in New York

I shared this in last month’s J’adore #86 with 2 other books but wanted to specifically call it out for obvious reasons. In Mona Lisa in New York by Yevgenia Nayberg (out March 9, 2021!) you’ll find Mona Lisa (who apparently was tired of Paris and wanted to explore!) as a tourist who experiences New York City for the first time. She meets an interesting resident, Tag, from Brooklyn who takes her around the Big Apple helping her to find art, love, and inspiration in unexpected places.

Don’t Tip the Waiter and Balance the Baker Games

I kind of want these “toys/games” for myself just to sit on my deck, coffee table, or bookshelf because I think they are adorable and remind me of some iconically French experiences – the Maître d’ (Don’t Tip the Waiter Stacking Game) and the local Boulanger (Balance the Baker), who these days don’t necessarily look like these classics!

L’atelier de Patisserie Baking Set

This baking set from Moulin Roty on The Tot makes me wish I had a little baker to inspire. You can never have enough bakers in the world and this is one way to get them started!

Vintage Picnic Set

I am ALL about the Picnic, especially in Paris and this Vintage Picnic Set from Maisonette is so cute! Kids can practice the art of picnicking on their own!

Sophie la Girafe Bead Maze

I just discovered French Wink which was founded by French women Claire & Myline now living in New-York City. They have a ton of products for Francophiles of all ages, but I think this toy with the Eiffel Tower is fun.

Bonjour Passport Holder

Anthropologie Bonjour Passport Holder

Get your passports ready, we will be traveling again and will probably have sort of extra documentation for proving your protection against The Queen (reference here). I haven’t had a passport cover in forever and I am going to pick up this one which is currently is on sale from Anthropologie

Et voilà! That’s this month’s list of gifts for Francophiles!

You can see additional Frenchie Finds for:  January | February | March | April | June | General Gift Guide for Francophiles
