Traveler Tuesday – Paul of A Luxury Travel Blog
It's been a while since I've had visitors for Traveler Tuesday, but there is about to be a whole slew of folks passing by to say hi, so stay tuned to meet a few travel bloggers from the far corners of the globe!
Today I am extremely pleased to introduce you to a very well known blog, A Luxury Travel Blog. Just as the name suggests, Dr. Paul Johnson is out and about tracking down the best luxury experiences around the world. In fact, as we speak he is in South Africa! He is based out of the UK but I am not sure he spends a lot of time there as the best part of his job is curating amazing content for his blog.
Let's meet Paul.
[1] When and how did you become a traveler?
I have travelled as long as I can remember. It's never something I've consciously ‘become'.
[2] What is travel to you in 10 words or less?
Experiencing different locations, people, food and cultures.
[3] What is your favorite mode of transportation and why?
On foot. For me, it's the best way to explore a place.
Open up the laptop and do some work… or maybe play chess on my iPhone if I'm not in the mood for that!
[5] What is your favorite travel memory involving food?
A meal in the Serengeti. We were in the middle of nowhere and yet the quality of the food was exceptional. How they did it I don't know!
[6] What is one blogging tip or lesson that you have learned along the way that you can share with my readers?
Understand your worth. Too many travel bloggers are keen to take “free” trips in return for editorial, not fully realising that what they offer has a value that often goes beyond that.
Thanks Paul!
You can keep up with Paul on his blog A Luxury Travel Blog, his Facebook page or Pinterest and check out his chatter on Twitter. Wherever you catch him, I am sure you will enjoy his adventures!

What lucky kids!! It’s amazing you’re giving them such a cool childhood. 🙂
My aunt was fortunate enough to travel the world and experience many cultures.
wow amazing
Thank you everyone, and thank you, Andi… for running the interview. We are indeed very lucky to be living a life of travel (and in luxury, to boot). We are just back from an amazing safari experience in South Africa and I’ll be writing about that soon.
