A to Z – Kisha of The Kisha Project

A to Z interview series with Arizona bloggers

Arizona is a melting pot of peoples and very welcoming. I’m always happy to meet new bloggers, especially ones that have just moved to the area and are newbies like me!

Let’s meet Kisha!

A to Z - Kisha of The Kisha Project

[1] Favorite thing about where you live in AZ.

We live in Ahwautukee and we love that everyone we have met in this area has been so nice, including our neighbors.

[2] Least favorite thing about where you live in AZ.
We recently moved from Dallas and it was so easy to get to almost any freeway. I will say because of where we live it feels like it takes me a while to get to the freeway or just “down the hill” in general.

[4] Favorite place to visit anywhere in the state.
My husband is a pilot and he likes to fly to Sedona. Since we moved here in August I still haven’t explored many places.

[5] Favorite coffee spot.
There was a place called Suncup Cafe 5 mins from my house. I literally drove there today and it was closed! I’m not sure what’s going on. Nobody warned me!

[6] Favorite spot for drinks.
I just had our 2nd son a few weeks ago so I haven’t been able to drink since we moved here. I’m going to be doing research soon though!

[7] Favorite local hangout.
I haven’t found one yet.

[8] Favorite breakfast spot.
We love the Hash Kitchen

[9] Favorite lunch spot.
Sweet Tomatoes

[10] Favorite dinner spot.
Copper Still Moonshine Grill (kids eat free on Wednesdays)

[11] One thing you always do/spot you always take friends from out of town to do/see.
South Mountain, the aquarium, children’s museum

[12] How do you like to beat the heat?
In our swimming pool!

[13] Lucky question #13, tell me about your blog!
I blog at The Kisha Project a place where I discuss life, love, and motherhood from an Afro-Latina perspective.

Thanks, Kisha!

You can keep up with Kisha on Facebook, and Pinterest and of course on her blog. Wherever you catch her, I am sure you will enjoy her Arizona adventures!
