Traveler Tuesday – Pujarini of My Soul Travels

Traveler Tuesday

I admire families who travel. When I observe a family in an airport I am seriously impressed by the amount of work it is! And that's just the airport! Pujarini Mitra of My Soul Travels is traveling the world with a baby in tow while sharing her travel stories and experiences trying to make that work!

Let’s meet Pujarini!

[1] When and how did you become a traveler?
The love for travel has always been in me. Born and raised in an army life, traveling has been an essential part of me. I continued my adventure as a solo, couple and now as a traveling mother.

[2] What kind of traveler do you define yourself as?

I am history buff so I love traveling to places that have a rich legacy and culture. I also love beaches so the perfect destination would be a combination of both. I am mostly a family budget traveler with a dash of luxury at times.

[3] What do you love most about traveling?

I love the whole experience of exploring and discovering a new destination, learning about the culture and meeting new people.

[4] What do you dislike about traveling?

I hate jet lags but they come as a package deal.

[5] Why should people travel?

It broadens your horizon and gives you perspective. It makes you less judgmental and humbles you. Traveling puts you out of your comfort place and you learn to adapt. I think it mostly makes you a happier person.

[6] What famous person would you like to travel with?

I would love to travel with Mathew Kepnes also known as Nomadic Matt and would love to hear his stories.

[7] Travel essentials – 3 things you always travel with.

My sunscreen, shades and a book.

[8] If you’re a foodie, what's your favorite food city? Do you have a restaurant recommendation?

My favorite food city is Delhi. I would recommend a food street called Chandni Chowk in Delhi for Indian street food. The food is so yum that it beats restaurant food any day.

[9] What's one location on your bucket list?

It would have to be Egypt.

[10] Do you have a piece of advice for bloggers starting out?

Keep writing great stuff and have patience. Find your niche, stay true to your readers and people will find you.

[11] What are three other blogs that inspire you?

I am highly inspired by Nomadic Matt, Expert Vagabond, and Y Travel.
