New York in Black and White
Some photos just scream to be processed in black and white. So like Kyoto I leave you with a few parting shots of New York in 50 shades of….
High-Line Alley:
Brooklyn Bridge:
Silicon Alley:
The Met:
St. Patrick's Cathedral and Atlas
Are you a fan of black and white photography?
These photos are epic. I mean, they literally have an epic feel. I love the angles, too.
@Stacie, thanks so much for the compliment!

@Christy, glad you think so, the architecture is amazing in NYC.
Those are lovely photos. I love NYC and I am looking forward to getting back there this summer – I can’t believe that I haven’t been there since last November.
@Robin, are you going for Blogher?
So many people I know have gone to NYC or NY in general. And I still haven’t been yet! I need to go….to shop of course 🙂
@Nancy, I am not a shopper but I have friends who are and they love NYC for shopping!
Beautiful photos. New York is a beautiful city and you captured it really well.
@OurFamilyWorld, thank you!
These photos are incredible! I absolutely love them! I lived in NY for 5 years and you captured the true beauty of the city so wonderfully! The architecture alone is something to marvel at.
@Winter, thanks so much, love hearing that from someone who walked those streets!
I love black & white photography! There is such a classic appeal and vulnerability to these types of photographs.
@Maria, us too, as I said, some photos just beg to be B&W.
Wow, love the classic look of these, it makes it really beautiful! Haven’t been in New York but hopefuly someday, we could explore.
@Chubskulit, thanks so much!
These black and white photos look really nostalgic. Even though they may be modern pics, they look as though they could have been taken in the 1920s!
@Dawn, that’s a great perspective!
This looks so beautiful! I love how the black and white looks with these pictures, it gives it kind of a vintage feel and it’s nice.
@TouristMeetsTraveler, so glad you appreciated them!

@Liz, so glad you liked them!

These are some very pretty photos. I like the fact that they are still just as stunning in black and white as they would be in color.
@Crystal, thanks for the compliments!
I love black and white photos. They really make photos so much more interesting and provide a different perspective from the color version. Your photos are fantastic!
@April, thanks!
I love the black and white photos. I need to play with some of my photos from sea world and put them in black and white too.
@Christy, some photos look even better in B&W.
These photos are amazing. I love the look of black and white pictures.
@Ann, thanks!
These photos are so great! I would love to visit NY one day and your photography just made me want it more!
@Jamela, I hope you get the opportunity to visit!
Great pictures. The black and white makes each one look so dramatic. New York scenery was made for photos like that.
@Digna, I think so too! Thanks for the compliments.
I have never been to New York before although my parents have lived there before, but I do want to visit it someday. These pictures of it look lovely! I have always been a fan of black and white photography. 🙂

Wow I have seen NYC but this so very different. The black and white photographs are really amazing, they highlight architecture or design better than color ones.
I love black and white photography. I love how black and white shots look when blown up to put on canvas as decor for inside the home. 🙂
@Michelle, true, these make great blow-ups for your home walls!
