J’adore #61 (Travel Stuff Edition 2)
Welcome back to another edition of J'adore, the series where I share things I am currently adoring from near and afar. Whether is internet window-shopping or products that have traveled to my doorstep, there is something about each and every one of these products that I think is cool. And I hope you do too, so let's get going.

This particular edition is travel-focused, everything included is something I would definitely bring along in my suitcase or carry-on to make my outing, vacation, or road trip that much better.

Samsonite Jordyn Laptop Tote

I got this bag as swag at the Women in Travel Summit in Boston at the end of March. Best schwag EVAH! Since then this bag has not left my side. I use it for my daily commuting bag. It has gone with me on casual weekend trips, week-long business trips, and on vacation.
I have been searching for a bag like this for years and I love it! Carries my laptop, iPad mini, files, personal purse stuff, you name it, on comfortable on my shoulder and no matter how I stuff it, it still fits under the seat in front of me on the plane – score!
KESS InHouse – Everything Bag

As my Samsonite Jordyn Laptop Tote is deep, I have little bags to organize various items inside. Like electronics in one and health and beauty items in another. But that doesn't mean my bag has to be boring! KESS InHouse has adorable Everything Bags that fit, well a lot of things!
And they come in a ton of patterns, something for everyone's tastes. I love this red one because, well, I love red. But the travel one is an appropriate way of telling the world where my passions lie!
This could have been called the band or bracelet edition because I've got three to share!
June UV Monitoring Bracelet

I am pale. When I was younger I used to spend a lot of time in the sun swimming. But it has been many years since I have let my skin tan, and I avoid burns at all costs. I wear sunscreen with lots of SPF.
So I am loving the new June UV Monitoring Bracelet because it measures my sun exposure throughout the day and I can get real-time updates on my iPhone to further protect myself from the sun. Awesome! And beautifully designed by a French jeweler (bien sûr!).
PSI Bands

I have had a PSI Bands for a long time. I first bought one when Mr. Misadventures and I went on an Alaskan cruise and 10 years later I still bring them with me to any occasion I think I am going to get on a boat. I never got seasick until I was older and it is not fun. It is a natural medicine-free way of taking care of nausea.
I haven't used it for being car sick but I have to imagine it would work for that scenario as well, so if you tend to go on road trips with friends, you may want to have a couple of sets in your glove box handy for guests. And bonus, they come in fun colors!
Mosquitno Band

Spotted on Tamara's We 3 Travel's Summer Family Road trip Gear Guide, I love the simplicity of a Mosquitno Band protecting me against mosquito bites without DEET. I really wanted to bring one to Hawaii with me but I couldn't get them in time for my trip. I have a 5-pack on order to have on hand for future trips (like our upcoming trip to Oregon).
Hawaiian Airline Flight Amenity Kits

Speaking of Hawaii, it's no secret that I love Hawaiian Airlines (I feel like an unofficial brand ambassador). They have graciously transported me to the islands many times. What people may not know is that they have a ton of international routes in the Pacific and you can do a layover and stay a few days in Hawaii with no extra charge.
Now, when you do fly Hawaiian Airlines internationally, you'll one of their new gorgeous amenity kits available in all cabins. Hawaiian Airlines partnered with Manuheali‘i (one of Hawaii’s most popular designers) to design the exclusive pattern and weave in the Hawaiian culture.
Old Fashioned Carry-on Cocktail Kit

Why not add a cocktail to your in-air experience? I spot these spiffy-looking cocktail kits on the AFAR website and in use via the NVR Guys. I am totally buying one (some) of these for my next long haul. And maybe for my office earthquake kit! Or maybe in my car for the times I am sitting in horrendous bridge traffic! [Just kidding, no drinking and driving folks!]
That’s it for this edition of J’adore! I hope you enjoyed exploring some of the travel-focused finds that have come across my radar as of late.
How about you? What are you currently adoring?
Great update! I love the mosquito bands. Very cute! I’ve been traveling with a Setra travel pillow, and absolutely love it. Will not travel without it.
@Jenn, I will have to check out that pillow, I have never heard of it.
Those mosquito bands would have been perfect for me last weekend when I was camping. What a great list of products.
@Robin, get them for the next trip, great to have in the camping kits.
Wow! I need that UV monitor. I’m pretty pale so I always burn so quick.
@Beth, then I think the bracelet would be perfect – and stylish!
Those mosquito bands would be great right now! Being pregnant I have been looking for DEET free alternatives, will definitely be checking into those, thanks!
@Anna, I hope they work for you! Also the PSI bands are GREAT for nausea associated to pregnancy.
The laptop tote AND the flight cocktail is delightful! I need both of these for travel!
@Chelley, I love the bag! And yes, I think the cocktail case is perfect for travels!
Especially like the uv monitor well needed and the laptop tote so many thing can’t seem to make up my mind. Thanks for sharing.
@Patrice, so glad you enjoyed my finds!
This looks like a great roundup of things to ensure you have on your travels. I really like that laptop bag a good bit. I like that it has room for my laptop and my tablet both.
@Lynsey, after many years of searching for the perfect bag, this is the one for me!
My husband travels a lot and would love all these things. I think that old fashion cocktail kit is too cute!
@Kristen, and makes a good gift!
Lady, where were you with this post like a week ago when I still had time to order some of these things before my trip to Sweden?? I just realized that I’m seriously going to need some bug repellant. And I love the look of that UV monitoring bracelet — I’d wear it even without the UV monitoring capability! I love my Samsonite bag from WITS too! It’s going to be hard to top that one in Irvine in 2016. 😉
@Katie, I know! That is what I said to Tamara as I saw her post to late to get them for Hawaii, but they will ship expedited so you do have a chance still. My Samsonite bag is my constant companion!
Whoa, I love all those things. I’d probably use the misquito band the most. Though I really like the cocktail kit! I think you need it for your earthquake kit for sure!
@Cindy, the mosquito band seems to be a big hit!
I get caught off guard by mosquitoes WAY too often. I need to keep some of those bands with me at all times!
@Liz, they are so convenient to keep in a bag or glove box, handy for when you need them!
We could use the mosquito bands. We are going hiking this weekend.
@Elizabeth, I think they would be perfect for hiking!
So I hate DEET, but due to that chicken whatever it’s called disease that’s going on in the Caribbean, I bought some wipes as I figured that DEET was the lesser of the two evils, however, they didn’t even work! I wonder how good those bracelets are? Lots of good stuff on your list…I don’t have any current travel loves. I’ve been focused on food lately. 😉
@Christina, oh no, that is terrible! Did you get a lot of bites? I have not tried them out to guarantee, but I did order some, so when I test them out, I will let you know.
i need that UV monitor! 🙂 i’m always worrying i’m not reapplying sunblock enough. and how cool is that old fashioned mix kit! though i probably wouldn’t want to go through the trouble to make my own drink.. that would be so awesome if you could hand that to a flight attendant to see if they can mix one up for you haha
@Esther, that is exactly why I’ve never made a martini at home, even though I love them!
These are some great finds! The laptop bag is nice! I could really use that. The one I have doesn’t fit much of anything aside from my laptop. :-/
@Camesha, take it from me, that bag is awesome!
Omg since I’m a total bag girl I’m loving on the bag!!! Perfect for traveling. I need it in my life 😉
@CourtneyLynne, this is THE bag!
Those bright bracelets would be the perfect gift for my daughter. 🙂 She would love the colors.
@Becka, great for kids because of them being DEET free.
I’m adoring and coveting pretty much everything you just wrote about. Those bags are awesome. I love how lightweight it looks, and I love red too! I also need some of those bands. The sun and I are not friends, which is unfortunate since I live in sunny LA, so that UV bracelet would be perfect for me. Thanks for sharing all of these things that I now need!
@Kelly, I have been searching for a bag like this for years, and wouldn’t you know, it is conference swag, I guess once you stop searching it the Universe puts it right there in your path!
These are some great products. I could definitely use the bag and the bands. I will be checking them out for sure.
@Victoria, glad you liked them!
