J’adore #59
Welcome back to the latest edition of J'adore. In this series, I highlight products that I have either tried recently or want to try. I am always spotting things that I want to buy (although 90% of the time I am window shopping!) and am sharing them here with you.

Thermo Pot
In my efforts to lose weight, I am trying to bring my breakfast and lunch to the office. I don't do it every day but I am trying. One thing I love is soup, particularly my husband's homemade vegetable soup and the seafood soup we make with soba noodles.
I have now found the perfect vessel from Black Blum to bring my soup. I am also thinking it would be great for the cream of wheat in the morning!
Ringly
Wearables are all the rage now, there's Fitbit and Apple Watch and Pebble and now Ringly. Ringly is, well a ring, that notifies you with 5 unique vibrations customized to vibrate when you want simply by programming it in their app.
There are 5 colors and a special edition version, shown in the bottom right, which is what I bought myself for my birthday! Can't wait to get mine, how about you? Would this be something you'd wear?
Try the World
Last J'adore I shared the Casuebox a subscription box service where all the items are socially conscious products for women. Now I am eying the food and beauty products from exotic locations all over the world. Paris, Rio, Tokyo? Oh yes, sign me up! I have been seeing Try the World boxes everywhere!
My friend Esther from Local Adventurer just did a great review on the latest Venice-themed box. I signed up to try one, can't wait to see what's in it and where I will be transported to.
Smitten Ice Cream Coins
San Francisco Only: One of the best ice cream shops's in the city, Smitten Ice Cream, has adorable gift coins to give to your friends and loved ones for Valentine's Day. Smitten also has a special holiday topping – rose syrup, much better than the typical bouquet of roses! I love their salted caramel, it is out of this world!
That’s it for this edition of J’adore, favorite finds from my online travels!
How about you? What are you currently adoring?
Never heard of that subscription box before! Looks and sounds fun! And seriously that pot for the soup is too cute!
@Kristine, you can try the first box for free and it is a fun way to explore the world!
Those rings look so cool! I’d be afraid that I’d snag them on everything though, mainly my hair. And if I get notifications I’d probably be tempted to check them all the time, haha. I’ve heard of Smitten before, but not those adorable coins! I think a trip up to the city is in order.
@Jessica, when I get my ring I will probably do a review, I’ll keep in mind the “snagging” aspect of it and report back. Just must try Smitten, it is amazeballs!
I love subscription boxes and also have been debating Try the World. That soup thermos is awesome and I am totally an ice cream junkie.
@Lois, you can get the first TTW box free, so go for it! What is your favorite ice cream?
Ringly looks SO cool! I’ve never heard of it but will definitely have to check it out!
@Shannon, I know! I can’t wait to get mine, hope you try it out!
I love the idea of trying the world. I’m always interested in subscription boxes but haven’t actually signed up for any yet.
@Tamara, you can get the first Try the World box free to see if you like it. This one is perfect for travelers.
I have never heard of Ringly but SO FUN! Awesome 🙂
@TaraJoy, is it something you would wear?
I’ve never heard of ringly. Interesting concept tho.
@Adelynn, I think so too, can’t wait to try mine!
Thanks for introducing me to so many cool things. I really dig Ringly – and I love their color palette, too. =) I’m always on the hunt for a great color palette.
@Jen, I am not big on jewelry, I only wear a wedding band and from time to time a bracelet, but this intrigued me!
Never heard of ringly but would wear one (so cute)! I wish Smitten was available outside of San Fran. Would love to try their ice cream!
@Theresa, I am anxiously waiting my ring, can’t wait to try it out!
What a unique list of cool “toys” to try out! I have NEVER heard of the Ringly in my life and am honestly quite intrigued… and scared! HA, damn technology has exploded, huh? Thanks for the ideas!
@Krysta, it is unavoidable these days, technology is everywhere, but it is nice to do a digital detox from time to time!
Those rings and ringly seem so fun.
@Karissa, I think so, I was thinking it would be interesting if they had a medical application as well, for early warning on strokes, etc. I know you had a stroke, maybe someday wearable technologies will assist in that area too!
Oh, I love that Try The World box. And I saw they have a promotion – you can get the first one for free! Thank you so much for sharing this!
@Diana, my pleasure, I am getting my first box soon, hope you like yours as well!
I was born and raised in San Francisco and I have never been to Smitten. I definitely need to go there! Also, I really want that thermo pot!
@Brenda, you definitely have to try Smitten!
So sad that Smitten is only in San Francisco!!
@Lauryn, I know, you’ll just have to come for a visit!
The Try the World boxes sounds incredibly fun and a great way to learn.
@Ash, where would you want a box from? What city?
I keep hearing how Belgium chocolates are delicious and I’d hope to get one from there and there’s chocolate.
@Ash, Belgium does have amazing chocolate! I am not sure where you live, but if you ever see a Godiva shop, their chocolate it Belgium. But a box from Belgium would be lovely!
What neat ideas! I recently saw an add for a bracelet that was similar to Ringly. The things we think of these days! What neat products!
@Cat, ohh a bracelet sounds cool too!
Try the World box looks incredible! That is something not only I would go for but my hubby, too!
@Diane, so glad you like it! I think you can get your first one free. What city would you want to explore a box from?
The ringly looks like a really cool gadget plus it’s a fashion accessory. This is something I can adore. I love gadgets and just got a wireless yurbuds today.
@Franc, I can’t wait to get my ring, any day now, I love tech gadgets as well!
I’m really liking the aesthetic of the Thermo Pot. I definitely see how convenient they would be to bring into work. Those Ringly rings are really clever too!
@Liz, I think design is important too. Eating is an experiences of the senses and who wouldn’t want to eat a meal from this gorgeous pot?!
These are unusual and very cool. In fact, am going over to the box site now!
@Carol, I think so too, as an explorer, it is perfect for enticing me to new places, or reminding me of places I have already been too!
awww i wish we had a smitten ice cream around us! i actually never had any all the times we visited. 🙁
@Esther, that is a wrong you definitely need to right!
I really need that ring! Thanks for putting this great list together!
@Jessica, I hope you get one, they are so cute!
Seems I need to visit San Francisco again! The Smitten coins intrigue me… the ice cream would please me! Great stuff here (the thermal cup is pretty darn great; if not for working from home, I’d be all over that!).
@Lisa, you should definitely come back, there is so much to do, see and eat…including ice cream!
Those Smitten tokens are SO cute. And, I love the soup thermos. 🙂
@Shipra, if you ever get to San Francisco you should definitely try Smitten!
I have to get this Thermo Pot….I love soup, too. I, also, take my lunch to meetings so that I can eat healthy. These are great!
@Ellen, I think so as well. I am looking forward to trying one out!
There are a few of those boxes that I’d love to try. That ice cream coin thing sounds pretty neat too.
@Mary, do you get any subscription boxes now?
I would love to try that subscription box. Looks like tons of great items in there. Thanks for sharing your list.
@Michele, I know, I can’t wait to get my first one! Where would you like to explore – what city would you want a box from?
Those Smitten coins are adorable!
@Joya, aren’t they?! A great gift, one that keeps on giving when you get to buy that amazing ice cream!
I’d love to try Ringly- but I am too cheap! Great finds!
@Valerie, there is an opportunity to get a discount on your Ringly if you refer others, just an f.y.i. I got $30 off from referrals.
All of these sound amazing!! I think my favorite would be the ice cream place sounds great!
@Tammi, Smitten is pretty awesome! What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
I like that thermo kit. Right now I’m really in the mood for some ice cream too!
I can see why you’re loving all these things. I am loving the sound of the Try the World boxes, I really want to try one of them for myself! 🙂
@Fi Ni, I think it is a really great way to explore the world, but I am not sure they ship to Ireland!
@Rosey, what is your favorite kind of ice cream?
I love the thermo pot. I need something like this especially when I want to carry food into the city so I don’t have to buy.
@Felice, lunch or breakfast in the city add up, this is a great way to have cheaper options!
OMG! I love that thermo pot. It is so sleek and modern!! I’m tempted to get this for $42.00 🙂
@Vidya, it is a lot to pay, but eventually I would get the money back from bringing in my own breakfast or lunch.
Ohhh, I want one of those thermal pots! I love soup and having one of those would be so amazingly handy!
@Echo, I think so too! I love udon and think this pot would be great for it!
I totally love that Ringly! I’m going to hop over and check that out. It is something I would wear. And Mother’s Day is coming up.
@Brandi, that would be perfect for Mother’s Day! I can’t wait to get mine!
All of these products look amazing!! I really love the ringly product and the try the world gift basket! I really need to check some of these things out!
@Lauren, glad you liked them! I am [im]patiently awaiting my ringly!
Ringly looks amazing! It’s my birthday very very soon and I might be asking for one now, how amazing! I’ve never heard of that before.
@Sara, I hope you get your birthday wish!
I have never heard of anything like ringly. I would love to get my hands on one of those to play with it. I am really intrigued.
@Debi, I can’t wait for mine to show up. I will probably write a post about the experience, so stay tuned!
I love that thermos. What a great idea. I feel like I’m always looking for stuff to transport food.
@Lou, I know! It isn’t easy to transport soups or oatmeal. Coffee, tea, yes, but anything more solid, and I don’t like the regular thermos form factor, this seems perfect.
All of these are such great products! I love the thermal pot and the Try the World box, I’m going to have to look into both. Thanks for sharing!
@Chene, you should definitely check out the Try the World box, I think you can even get the first one for free, can’t beat that!
That Thermo Pot looks great. I too could use that a lot to transport warm food like soup for lunch. I must also stop into Smitten next time I’m in San Fransisco. Thanks for sharing this roundup of cool items.
@Tonya, I am getting one to try out, I think it would be perfect for cream or wheat or oatmeal! Smitten is definitely a must try spot!
Love all these products, especially the ice cream 🙂
@Corina, what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
great post! I love the look of that subscription box
@Carrie, I know it looks like such a fun experience to open up and explore, I can’t wait for my first one!
I just got Try the World for my dad for Christmas! It’s so hard to shop for family sometimes but he is really enjoying it.
@Mandy, so glad to hear, I can’t wait to get my first box!
That therma pot looks really cool!
@Ronda, I think so too, I want to try it out for oatmeal and cream of wheat!
I think my husband would love the Back & Blum thermopot for ice fishiing.
@Melissa, oh that would be perfect! Valentine’s has come and gone, but maybe a “just because” gift is in order! He will think warm thoughts of you while he keeps warm fishing!
I LOVE that tea pot! LOL Thanks for sharing 🙂
@Andrea, looks pretty cool, right? I am picking one up to try out!
I really, really like the look of that thermos! I have one that works really well, but it’s not nearly as stylish looking as that one. I guess there’s something to being an adult and picking function over form, but it’s not nearly as fun….
@Leah, well, if your thermos ever dies you know what you can buy next 😉 !
That Thermo Pot is genius – it looks awesome too! And yeah, I’m going to need a Ringly too. 😉
The Thermo Pot is really useful. This is the kind of product that everyone would want to get as a gift 🙂
This is so great! Subscription boxes are all the rage right now. These are all such great products!
@Nelly, I know! I hear about a new box every week!
