J’adore #43 (Map Edition 3)
Time for a new edition of J'adore, my series where I share with you things that have caught my eye during my internet travels. And speaking of travel, since I am slightly addicted to the sport, forever dreaming of where to go next (even when I am on a trip), maps, and things related to maps, such as unique city/country outlines, always call to me! So once again I present to you a map-themed version!
In addition, today is special because I also have a map-themed giveaway for one lucky winner (and more) so don't forget to check that out at the end of the post, there will be goodies for everyone!

Who wouldn't want to go to sleep every night enfolded in Paris? Or San Francisco? Or New York City? These incredibly intricate handmade quilts from Haptic Labs will allow you to do just that…and maybe transport you while you dream?

Once you've got your quilt in place, why not throw on a few pillows to add to the authenticity?! If you have the NYC quilt, stack on your own deli and pizza parlors to give it an authentic city feel? Build Your Block lets you build your own empire, even if its only your bedroom! Could be a fun addition to your couch too!
If you are more the “wear your heart (or city) on your sleeve” kind of person, you can express your local love with a map-centric t-shirt like this San Francisco one from City Fabric. Right now they have several cities in the U.S. where you can show your love (or civic pride) for.

Of course, if you are a francophile like me, you'll love declaring your love for Paris with a bag from Kasia Dietz, it is just a matter of choosing a side…Rive Gauche or Rive Droite…or an arrondissement ! So many decisions! Of course, you can own several and decide every morning if you are feeling bourgeois or bohème ….

I also really love the retro look of this Paris necklace from A Touch of Romance. It makes me feel like something you would find in a flea market (or puce). I think it would be really cute to on a really long chain.
Still, the most straightforward (and sometimes the most beautiful) way to declare your love is with a gorgeous print. In your kitchen to inspire your cuisine, in your office to keep you motivated to why you are working (for the next trip of course!) or the living room to remind you of past memories (or new memories to come) I love vibrant unique prints of maps and cityscapes.
I have mentioned BirdAve before (in J'adore #35) and they continue one of my favorites. Last time I shared one of their San Francisco prints, this time it is Paris, the blue is so effervescent I can't but smile when I look at it!

That’s it for this edition of J’adore, a few of my recent favorite finds as I travel the web!
Thank you for including my bags, Andi! So happy you adore them! Many other goodies in the mix too!
