J’adore #39 (Food Edition)

I decided to do another themed J'adore because I had several finds that are food-related so this week is full of yummy stuff! Of all the things that I find in my internet travels, the thing that I am most likely to actually buy is food.

At work I have a reputation for sharing fun food finds so I am always in search of new things to try since I have a built-in tribe of people to experiment with!

Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, meaning if you book or buy something through one of these links, I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you!). Opinions are always my own and I’ll never promote something I don’t use or believe in. Also as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Plus so many of these products are made by small business peeps using locally-sourced products in interesting ways, and I love it!

Growing up, my Dad would make peanut brittle which was an Iowan family recipe. It was usually around the holidays and it was always a large production! At the time it was hard to find brittle in the stores and I still don't see it that often, that's why this brittle from Morning Glory Confections looks heavenly. There are a ton of really interesting flavors, I am not sure which I would choose!

There are also too many things to choose from at Whimsy and Spice: cookies, marshmallows, biscotti, you name it. But I am a big fan of chocolate and ginger snaps as well (although very picky about finding new ones) so I think this chocolate ginger snap cookie looks like something I want to sink my teeth into!

I originally spotted Chambre de Sucre because I honed in on adorable Eiffel Tower sugars, but I can't find those anymore, so these cute angel wings that you can put on the side of your espresso or coffee cup will have to do. (Andi P, she has elephant ones too!)

Chocolate mint is my crack cocaine, meaning I cannot resist it. If it is in my house, I will eat it. All of it. So while I am dying to try these pigments from Petite Pig Chocolates (spotted on Oh Joy!) they are too dangerous to actually do it!

Since I have been savings links for a while, not only will I share these amazing toffees from Pure Goodies, but since I actually bought them I can tell you that they are INCREDIBLE. Not a single one of my co-workers could resist them and they were a very popular pick!

I bought the Blood Orange/Bergamot Dark with Toasted Coconut, the Cayenne Sea Salt and the Dark Sea Salt versions, all of which were excellent.

And sometimes awesome food just comes to you! A tweet I did on post-game eating resulted in Pretzel Crisps reaching out to offer a few bags of pretzels to try. I love pretzels, so why not? But then this week the lovely Jenny of Pretzel Crisps showed up at my office with two huge boxes of them!

Pretzels and dips and other fun stuff and we all had a pretzel crisp party everyone discussing and debating their favorite combinations! The most popular? Original with Nutella and Buffalo Wing flavor with Alouette Cheese.

That’s it for this edition of J’adore, a few of my recent favorite finds as I travel the web!

How about you? What are you currently adoring?

  1. I’m a huge mint chocolate fan. And I love peanut brittle too. But like you, would be too dangerous to actually order. I would have to stumble on it and not be able to resist, not go out of my way to bring the temptation home.

    1. @Jennie, I don’t even buy it when I stumble on it, unless it is something I can buy in a small portion, I will just keep eating it until I am sick otherwise!
