J’adore #38 (Home Edition)
As long as you keep telling me you like this series I'll keep sharing fun things I run across in my internet travels! I am not a big shopper, but I love to virtual shop (unless it is for shoes, ack!) and can rack up a virtual credit card in no time flat!
Sometimes I actually do pick up an item here and there and I plan on doing a follow-up real soon on the things that I loved and what turned out to be a dud – stay tuned! In the meantime, this week I am focusing on things for the home.

Nearly every one has a standard run-of-the-mill (and kind of boring) refrigerator. But what if you could spruce it up with a beautiful decal? It could change the look of your whole kitchen! There are some really fun designs from Adzif, I am kind of partial to this one called blanche:

Lamps give you the opportunity to add a little personality to a room and while I have all the lamps I need in my home I love finding whimsical lighting and imagining how it would change the look of my living room. These flowerpost lamps from Vernor Panton add a nice splash of color.

Another really cool concept is to design your own lamp using photos you have taken. That could be kids or pets or places you have traveled to. Lamp in a Box also has a huge collection of ready-made lamp designs, and of course, I adore this vintage Paris look.

Being green when it comes to parties doesn't have to mean ugly. You can use this beautiful, and sustainable, party ware from Branch Home and have a look that is striking while being environmentally friendly.

Moving outside to the backyard I am in love with this very unique shade system. So much better looking than a regular umbrella, the design of this one from Camerarius is striking.

If your backyard is large enough and you do evening entertaining, this fun globe from Space Lighting will definitely evoke conversation! I am not sure if it is portable or not, but it would also be great on a camping trip!

Not quite for the home, but concerning other people's homes (or offices) I can't resist including this. Are you a fan of Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, or one of my favs, Sex and the City?
Why not have one of the character's floor plans, like this one of Carrie's apartment as art on your wall? Or the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Price? The people over at Fantasy Floorplans have you covered!

That’s it for this edition of J’adore, a few of my recent favorite finds as I travel the web!
How about you? What are you currently adoring?
I inevitably end up pinning half of every J’Adore you write! Particularly the homes- and/or map-related ones =)
I’m not a shopper either, which is probably why I like this series so much. That fridge decal is pretty cool. They should do one that looks like a fridge covered in magnets. =)
@Jen, oh that it too funny, such a great idea!
I do love this series and would be interested in the follow-up as well. Why don’t you like to shop for shoes online?
@Jennie, I go cross-eyed at the options, total info overload! Have you seen the sheer volume of black sandals at a site like Zappos – it’s insane!
Sooo nice! I like lamps on 2# photo..
