A Monday edition of the J’adore series where I share things from my web travels that I am adoring at the moment. As the holidays approach I am sure there will be many more delicious items attracting my attention. The good thing about this series is that all my shopping is virtual and I usually am only admiring from afar…
Speaking of afar…what better way to dream about (or choose ) destinations around the world than a globe? Of course, depending on when it was made, it may not be all that accurate. What do you think happens to old globes? I know people like Kristin of Camels & Chocolate collect them, but some people like Wendy Gold make art with them. She sells them on her site appropriately named Art on Globes and I am in love!
Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, meaning if you book or buy something through one of these links, I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you!). Opinions are always my own and I’ll never promote something I don’t use or believe in.
I love unique stationery, I am kind of addicted to cards too. I have to admit that there are rarely any occasions anymore to send either. Emails and e-cards have replaced that lost art. But I do send them out sometimes so when that happens I want it to be unique. I think these illustrated note cards from Rifle Paper Co (found on Daily Candy) do the trick!
I am a big fan of the color red. Red iPhone case, red laptop case, red water bottle, 3 pairs of red glasses (strangely enough I don’t wear red!)…it is such a vibrant beautiful color. That is why I am hypnotized by this beautiful red bottle sold on Uncommon Goods. Sure the other ones are pretty, but the red one has captured my heart. Thankfully you can buy them individually if so desired.
I am trying to find new ways to challenge myself into improving my self-learned photography skills. I will get to a class or read a book someday, but until then I will just come up with project for myself like my Photo of the Day series or my new Friday Food Foto series. So I was thrilled when I spotted photo project on Pinterest. I think I might do it soon.
How about you? What are you currently adoring?
