Here are five ways to live in style no matter the budget.

Have an Outfit for Every Occasion

Whether you are going out for a night on the town or are relaxing at home, you can do it in style. You should have an outfit for every occasion. Women's or men's loungewear, a suit or a dress, or well-fitting exercise clothes are a great way to express yourself, no matter the budget or situation.

Womens loungewear sets, in particular, have become elevated enough that it's easy to feel comfortable everywhere, from the country club to a nightclub or an evening dinner with girlfriends. Whatever the occasion, event, party, or activity, have a look. Even if you are just sitting around, you can look good while you do it!

There are endless possibilities with clothing these days. Upcycle, recycle vintage thrift. You can build a wardrobe one piece at a time with classic looks that stay in the closet or trendy pieces you wear for one season and then exchange or sell to get others.

Keep Your Stuff Clean

Do you have a nice car? Are your clothes a prized possession? Whatever you have and are into, keeping your stuff clean is a great way to retain its value. Even if you don’t have much, you can give off the appearance that you do. It’s not about fooling people; it’s about caring for yourself and living with pride.

When you keep your clothes tailored and dry-cleaned, people will notice. When your shoes are clean and shiny, it comes through. The cost of your stuff doesn’t matter, but when you keep it clean everyone will know notice.

Travel to Somewhere Affordable

If you really want to ball out on that vacation, you can choose to go somewhere affordable. For example, if you go to Lisbon, you can afford more than say Paris. Taking a vacation in Portugal is a great way to get more out of the experience. You can get a nice hotel, eat amazing meals, and enjoy yourself on outings.

Whatever you want to do, vacationing somewhere more affordable is a great move. You can flex when you take a trip to somewhere you can more easily afford.

Eat & Drink Well, But Less

So many Americans want to eat a lot, and they want to eat well too. If you can’t afford the fanciest restaurants, you can make strategic choices to eat better but less. Skip a few restaurants, go to a farmer's market, and make a picnic. Have a nice lunch instead of dinner.

You don’t have to drink fifteen beers. Instead, have two or three craft beers. Skip the cocktails and sip some fine whiskey or wine. You can make choices and calculations based on what you want to eat and drink. You don’t have to spend a fortune to experience nice meals and drinks.

Create an Atmosphere Outdoors

Finally, a great way to flex your style is to create an outdoor experience. You can create your own experience, wherever you are with whatever you can think of. It’s a great way to go on a date or curate an experience you won’t forget without a ton of money. If you think outside the box and figure out new ways to live in style, you will be able to feel like you do. You know the saying, fake it until you make it…

Plus the tips on eating out while on vacation will be a great thing to know during that time as well! Thanks so much!
