December 2012 Edition of French Frolicking

December 2012 Edition of French FrolickingThe holidays have already made their presence known in France with the appearance of Christmas markets.  It is a fun time of year to be out and about in Paris as well as all over France.  You can do some holiday shopping, sample sweets and treats from all over the world and get seasonal specialties such as mulled wine and tartiflette!

It’s one of my favorite times to be in France and I always get nostalgic about my Thanksgiving and Christmas visits to Paris as well as cuddling up in front of our massive fire place when we lived in the Jura mountains.

If we can’t be in France you and I can read about it via French Frolicking, my monthly series where I invite my French/Francophile blogging friends to share their favorite blog posts from the previous month.

I invite you to explore their blogs, check out one of their posts from November, I promise you that you will want to read more than just one and enjoy a little Sunday reading.

So what’s on the menu for today?

About Andi Fisher

I'm a lifestyle blogger focused on travel and food. I love to travel via my stomach eating and seeking out local artisans to feature here. I'm a big supporter of the blogging community and love highlighting travel and food bloggers for you to meet.

  1. I went to the Christmas Market last night in Aix-en-Provence and it was beautiful!

  2. Andi, I hope you had a great vacation. I’m madly trying to catch up on blog friends ever since we got our dog and I fell into a slump. I did link up here, but it hasn’t appeared so I hope there’s no problems. Bisous.

  3. The Christmas market opened in Caen this weekend and there are lots of festivities planned in Bayeux as well. It’s a beautiful and delicious time of year to be in France!

  4. I was in Paris once during the Holidays and it was just gorgeous!

  5. Lovely to be here with all this great ‘French’ company Andi… xv
