I wanted to share a few of my favorite things from friends and fans of the Misadventures with Andi community. I think it is important to support small businesses particularly during the holiday season!
Take a peek and consider these unique gifts for your holiday list.
Kasia Dietz has been part of the family here for many years and it is no secret how much I adore my beautiful and talented Parisian amie. She runs Kasia Dietz handbags from Paris, but her canvas bags can be found in shops all over the world.
I have mention posts from Carolyn Jung of Food Gal in many editions of Saturday Six. I also interviewed her in a Reader Spotlight. She is an award-winning San Francisco Bay Area food journalist (and blogger) and she has her first cookbook out. Her access to the many celebrated chefs of the San Francisco is legendary and I read her posts about her amazing meals with drool. I for one cannot wait to get my hands on her book!
Another foodie I admire is Maggie of Eat Boutique. I have sent her beautiful gift boxes to friends and they are always met with delight. Maggie very carefully curates the components of each one of her baskets. She is focused on small batch local ingredients and products which resonates with me. It is really difficult for me to choose which regional or themed-box to buy. Do you go for the cocktail giftbox which is great for a holiday event or the breakfast box which is a great hostess gift perfect for when you stay with family. I am partial to the small batch by season.
I know I am not objective when it comes to how cute I think all the adorable pouches are from OliveiraBags, they are made by my cousin after all! I really love this Look Book version. I don’t have a look-book, but that won’t stop me from finding something to stick in one! I really think the design of this one is so cute!
Happy shopping and happy holidays!
