Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, meaning if you book or buy something through one of these links, I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you!). Opinions are always my own and I’ll never promote something I don’t use or believe in. Also as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

  • Content produced by travel influencers.

3. Video blogs can boost engagement

If you’re keen to boost engagement on your website it’s a good idea to use video content. Audiences love watching travel vlogs, these videos help them get an authentic feel for the destinations. Ensure that you have enough storage space, (a lack of storage can affect the performance of your device). It’s a good idea to clean out your device every now and then, removing files that you no longer need. If you’re not sure which files you can delete, you might want to use software to clean up your device. To learn more about clearing space on your Mac (that’s what I have, sorry, I am sure it is similar for PCs!) check out the Maw Paw site here.

At the same time, you’ll want to make sure that you have the right security protection for your device. Invest in anti-virus protection and cloud security software.

5. Keep notes for inspiration

If you’re a travel blogger you should carry a notebook with you wherever you go. You might not always be writing, but if an idea pops into your head, you’ll need somewhere to scribble it down. I also recommend taking lots of photos to use for notes and to write down things at the end of each day.

The best thing to do is to read up on a few tips online (here are 6 useful ones!). You might take a look at photography podcasts, articles, or books as well. When you connect with the right people, there are plenty of ways to expand your horizons.
