3 Ways to Save Money for Your Next Traveling Adventure
Traveling is one of the most amazing things you can ever do. However, it is not cheap. Even if you plan on backpacking in South East Asia, you are still going to need a fair bit of cash saved up, and that's after the flights. But how can you save up enough money to go traveling in the first place?
Every dollar you save means you'll be able to have an extra drink or a better place to stay or even extend your adventure longer. By scaling back what you spend on a day-to-day basis as well as making some extra money on the side, there are many ways you can save more money. So let's take a look at how.

Your Expenses
Obviously, spending less is a great way to save more, but how? Take a look at your bank statement and see where all your monthly income goes. Think about what you need to live now and what you can scale back. Is it time you started shopping for your weekly groceries at budget supermarkets, making sandwiches for lunch, and possibly walking or riding your bike more? Another thing to consider is your automatic withdrawals.
Are there any that you can cancel right now, like that gym membership you never use? When you drill into your expenses, you will probably discover a lot of areas in which you can reduce your spending.

Stop Tapping
Tapping your card willy-nilly is a surefire way to never have anything to save. Tapping can make it very difficult to work out exactly what you have spent day to day, week to week, and if you are not one for checking your bank, then you can easily spend more than you think. So, it may be a good idea to deactivate the tapping feature on your card. Or even withdraw all the money you want to spend that month and only use cash.

Side Hustle
Another way to help you save money is to get a second job or start a side hustle. A side hustle is an additional job alongside your day job. There are many ways to do this, and if you are thinking of saving a long time before your adventure begins, you will have more options open to you. You may even be able to continue while you are away.
A great way to make more money and save some is to start buying and selling online. There are many places where you can pick up bargains, such as thrift shops, yard sales, eBay, etc., and if you have any specialist knowledge, you will know precisely when you find a bargain and where to sell it. It is a look idea to start looking for the cheapest UPS rates so you can send the parcels as cheaply as possible. If you find you are good at this, you will also find a few bargains abroad too.
