My intentions were good, but the result was that not much happened in terms of making decisions. For 2016 it should have been … [Read more...]

Happy New Year 2014 and 2013 in Review

Happy 2014 everyone! I have big expectations for this year.  Probably not fair to the Universe, but I am saying it any way.  I am ready to turn the page on 2013.  I've had better years. Lots better.  I am not big on traditions, I create my own, but there is something about turning the page on the calendar that gives me hope. Last year when I shared my 2013 plans, I selected the word REFINE to … [Read more...]

Plans and ideas to spend New Year’s Eve in Paris

It’s not surprising that when your partner whispers those magic words, “You know what would be awesome? To spend this New Year’s Eve abroad.” Paris is one of the first destinations to come to mind. The reasons are obvious: It’s considered a romantic city, not in vain it’s called the city of love, and the city of light and la cité de la bohème. All the terms are very appealing for humans, … [Read more...]

Hello 2009!

Just got back from dim sum, a New year's tradition my husband and I started last year. While passing dumplings we reviewed 2008, giving the second half of the year a definite thumb's down. We had a fantastic year in 2007, the best of my life, so I am pretty happy 2008 was not any worse than what it was. We discussed our wishes for 2009, they are cautious. Me personally, I am excited to have a lot … [Read more...]
