Mr. Misadventures and I spent a significant amount of time (and by doing that saved a significant amount of money) at the Nishiki Market in Kyoto. We basically grazed – ate as we walked. One of things we picked up was basically a sushi-pop. Chunks of sushi grade fish on a sick meant to be eaten right then and there. I think that is my favorite kind of pops!
In San Francisco – like nearly everywhere else in the country – it has been freezing, so I am sorry if the fantastic recipes below lean towards soups, comfort and cold weather food!
