I am a PR-friendly blog, if you are looking for my Media Kit, it’s here!
==================================
Thanks for stopping by. My name is Andi Fisher and I am pleased to meet you! (Or as you would say in French “Enchanté“)
I currently work in San Francisco and live in Berkeley, but with the travel bug I’ve had all my life, I could be anywhere!
I find it very hard to define myself. I am many things. I’m a full-time corporate gal, blogger, wife to a French man and a cat mommy to Jessica, queen of our household (we just pay the mortgage and keep her in kibble). I am a writer, a world traveler, a foodie, a bookworm, and a movie nut.
I grew up an Army brat living all over the United States plus Latin America and Europe. I am a total klutz who has somehow managed not to break a single bone in her body. Not for lack of practice.
Why Misadventures with Andi? In 2003, I moved to Switzerland to work. This was the first time I lived in a foreign country without my parents. So of course there were mishaps, or misadventures, which I reported to all my friends and family in a weekly email called Misadventures with Andi.
When I decided to start a blog, the name stuck.
I have a day job, a side-business, this blog and no life. Just kidding. Not really.
When not traveling I am a home-body, an introvert by nature, although none of my friends buy it.
I blog about the things I like: travel, food (lots of food), movies and social media. Having lived in France and adoring Paris, I write a lot about that too.
I am not a domestic goddess, fashionista, or a mean person, if you are looking for that, move along.
I don’t take myself seriously and don’t expect any of you to either.
I try to blog every day. Crazy I know, but that’s me.
I write several series, these will give you a little taste of the variety of things I write about. I read over 400 blog posts a week, then I tell you about my six favorite every Saturday in my Saturday Six post. Every Wednesday is my (Not quite) Wordless Wednesday where I share a photo, typically travel or food related.
Friday I channel my inner frenchiness with French Friday or tempt you with culinary adventures with Friday Food Foto. There’s also road trip reports when I travel, guest-posts by many talented writers as well as fun selections of things J’adore.
You name it, there is something for everyone!
I am a AFAR Ambassador, a travel magazine and online community that I am passionate about! Check out my Wanderlists and Highlights on the AFAR site to see how travel can be experienced.
Welcome and let the misadventures roll!
