If you have a hankering for adventure, look no further than Canada. The vast array of sights and attractions on offer is rather daunting and with plenty of area to cover (after all, the country has the longest coastline in the world), you may need to make a repeat trip to ensure every base is covered. That doesn’t mean that you can’t see plenty during one visit though – plan your time wisely and it can be quite amazing just how much you can fit in to your stint north of the border.
You can be sure that by booking with a recommended provider such as Trailfinders, you will be able to appreciate the country and all that it holds.
Of course, if you have the time and you don’t have the constraints of life holding you back, spending as much time as possible exploring the cities and natural landscapes of this phenomenal country will give you nothing but good memories, but of course, that’s not always possible. Instead, consider these Canadian delights to include in your jetsetting itinerary and make the most of the time you have in this glorious corner of the world.
It’s hard to believe just how majestic a sight this really is without actually seeing it. Straddling the border between Ontario and New York, these three waterfalls collectively form one of the most incredible sights you will ever see.
Combine as part of a visit to Toronto – at a mere 90 minute drive away, the natural phenomena certainly isn’t inaccessible. Take a trip aboard the Maid of the Mist for a truly unforgettable experience, which takes you into the mist of the Horseshoe Falls as part of the boat tour.
There’s something quite incredible about seeing the magnificent Orca whale in its natural habitat and with a ride aboard a seaplane to Victoria, you can see just that. The seas around Victoria are home to various pods of Orcas so chances of seeing a glimpse (or several) of this incredible creature are very likely, while a trip on a Zodiac boat adds a little thrill to the matter too.
It doesn’t matter when you travel to the Rockies, the sights that await are out of this world. Whether you choose to head here during the winter season and enjoy a spot of skiing on the pistes of Jasper, or you prefer a visit during the summer months, when a ride on the Banff gondola will take you to the peaks to appreciate the astounding views is completely up to you.
Perfect for those that love action and adrenaline, there’s plenty of opportunity to walk, hike, climb and raft. Alternatively, the natural hot springs at Miette are perfect to wind down and relax.
Wherever you choose to include in your Canadian capers, you can guarantee you won’t be disappointed with your adventure.
How about you? Have you spent time outdoors in Canada?
