My birthday for clean water

By birthday for charity:water

Today is my 43rd birthday and I have given it up for clean water with charity:water.

My birthday wish?  That all my friends and family donate to my campaign to help me meet my goal of $500.

  3. Oh what a lovely organization, and what an amazing way to share your birthday, Andi.

A very happy 43rd to you, and thank you for being you. I’m so glad you were born! ♥

  4. @Karin, thank you and that is very sweet!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Donating now.

  6. @AndiP, thank you immensely!

  7. Happy (Belated) Birthday, Andi! This is a wonderful charity! Wish more people knew about it. Actually, I wish more people knew about a lot of charities beyond those that are well known. You’re doing a wonderful thing. Every bit (or drop) helps! A new year and a great gift.

  8. @BrainyPintSizer, thank you so much for the affirmation.

  9. I love this idea! I made a big push at the holidays to cut way down on gifts in the whole family and to donate to charity, which I plan to continue throughout the year with a different charity each month. This will be my January donation! And in November, when it’s my birthday, I think I will do something similar.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

  10. @Jenna, what a great idea and I am glad I could inspire November. Thank you so much for your donation. I am trying to do more this year in terms of charity too, there is no downside, and I know for one that I have everything I need while others don’t.

  11. Happy belated Birthday!!! I gave a few days ago!!

  12. Happy Birthday! (I’m 43 too) :-)

  13. @Jen, we are two old gals! Just kidding…but I knew we liked each other for a reason!

  14. I’m sorry but can’t donate right now, we just gave $500 to a friend of my sisters who is still without an apartment in Staten Island NY after Hurricane Sandy. So sad, she is living with a family friend with her 2 kids. Her landlord never claimed flood damage so she lost most of her stuff. He said he couldn’t fix his apartment and actually had the nerve to tell her if she didn’t pay her rent she would have to remove whatever stuff that did make it. He wound up slapping up walls and cleaning the area but the mold behind those walls must be horrible. Good Luck and what a selfless thing for you to do for your birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU….MUCH HEALTH AND HAPPINESS FOR YOU NOW AND IN TTHE FUTURE
