Last year Mr. Misadventures and I spent Christmas in Key West. And while I didn’t love Key West overall (although the color of the ocean there has captured my heart forever) there were aspects of it that I did enjoy. One thing that I found really amusing were the decorations. It just seems odd to have snowmen and snowflakes in a spot that is so hot!
I guess it is just as weird as seeing Santa in Moorea! Whatever the case may be, I hope you are surviving of the frenziness the last days before Christmas. If not, just close your eyes and imagine yourself on a beach in Key West….or anywhere else in the world.
Smell that? I think it’s a piña colada!

These are such cute photos! Honestly, as fabulous as it sounds to spend the winter holidays somewhere warm or even exotic, I can’t imagine abandoning my thick winter coat, heavy scarf and gloves!
@Lindsey, I completely understand, there is something about warmer weather that makes it feel less like Christmas!
Great photos. It looks like you like to travel. I do too but mine’s more Michigan, MInnesota and everywhere in the South.
I grew up in West Palm Beach, about 60 miles north of Miami and although I can’t say I’m a fan of Florida anymore, I did love my trip to the Everglades on my last business trip there. If you get a chance do go. I photographed an alligator while there.
