(Not quite) Wordless Wednesday #167: Mirror Image

Mirror Me in San Juan Islands

During a visit last year to San Juan Island, Mr. Misadventures and I spent an afternoon walking through the San Juan Islands Museum of Art and Sculpture.  It is an outdoor interactive sculpture park and we had so much fun visiting there.

We got a big kick out of this canvas mirror and tried out a whole bunch of poses in and out of the frame – totally silly and fun!  Here is one of the shots I took which I realized I have never shared anywhere so I decided to use it today.

How about you? Have you had any experiences with interactive art?

  1. Very cool. Never thought of doing something like that. I guess as the photographer, there is an added interest in seeing yourself that way.

  2. Wow, that is super cool!

  3. Too clever! The image is so fun. It’s like reality within reality.

  4. Whoa, I had to do a double take! That was pretty cool. You should post the other pics!

  5. Super cool! That does look like a photographer’s dream to have interactive artwork! Very nice shot!

  6. That’s fun! I don’t know how they made it look so like a canvas.

  7. @Jennie, me either! I am dying to see it in person!

  8. This is one of the coolest thing ever! Nature and a fun canvas to play with. :D
