I scene from Florence. This was from my 17-day Italy trip in 2007. We are headed back there in October and I cannot wait.
The best martini I ever had was in Florence, not precisely a reason to go back, but I would be lying if I said I did think of that drink while planning what I will be doing the few days we will be there!

I think of the 4oz prawns in Tiestos restaurant, in Cuenca Ecuador sauteed in butter. I salivate every time I think of them.

That place looks wonderful. Wish I could go there someday too. You know, it’s on my bucket list to pretty much travel in that part of the world….
As for a drink, nope, can’t think of any. But that’s okay. I’m pretty satisfied with my cuppa at the moment.

Yep! I loved the Bratwurst with Broetchen in the center of Bremen, Germany. Another favorite were the Fisch Frikadellen with Broetchen in Dorum on the North Sea, Germany.
I was in Florence as a kid (maybe teenager) and was amazed at the art sculpture of David by Michelangelo as well as his unfinished works.
