This behemoth from Adam’s Grub Truck is called the Madd Phoenix made up of Five Spices Chicken on a brioche bun with pepper jack cheese, a fried egg, Asian slaw and avocado wasabi. It was just too large to really enjoy.
It was a week full of food truck adventures, most of them not that great. Like any new “restaurant,” there are hits and misses. There are now three spots in walking distance from my office where I can try out anywhere from two to ten food trucks – let the adventures begin!
Thus far, the best truck I have eaten at is The Chairman. The food is consistently good, fantastic in fact.

OMG, that thing looks like quite the mouth-full. Love all those flavors, too. It’s enough to be breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one bite.
