Today I complete the first week of a two-week business trip to Las Vegas. I am in my third hotel in almost as many days, I am actually moving to my fourth and final hotel tomorrow. I am frustrated because the wi-fi in the hotels has been horrendous and I can literally feel my grey hair growing while trying to work, or blog, or read blogs.
So no Saturday Six this week, reading blogs, or doing anything that involves the internet, is completely frustrating. The posts I want to write are lining up. Two great Japanese dinners. Another day of hiking in Valley of Fire. I hope I will have better connection tomorrow, but if not, it will a sparse week of blogging until I get back home at the end of the week.
So if you are hankering for something to read, you can always find good stuff in my archives!

Hope you get back to civilization soon. And incidentally, that is our wifi at home!
@Jennie, I bummer, I am so used to a fast connection that when I don’t get it I go a little crazy. Then you are especially dedicated to blogging, because getting some of them to load takes forever!
Now, I wish I’d left that comment about having to have an Andi fix!!! I’d be ka-razy with no wifi.
Big hugs!!!
Las Vegas is awful. I couldn’t even get Wi-fi on my phone… and the hotels charge horrendous fees for Internet access. It’s really ridiculous.
@San, I totally agree!
I do not understand why it’s 2012 and it’s still nearly impossible to get reliable Wi-Fi in hotels—Vegas or elsewhere.
@Kristin, I don’t get it either. My hubby is in the IT industry so when we travel together he has all these cool gadgets to boost the wireless, but I don’t have them when I travel solo…I need to work on that!
