(Not quite) Wordless Wednesday #136: Mint Leaf Roll


My recent Friday publishing schedule has prevented me from posting another Friday Food Foto, so I decided to use (Not quite) Wordless Wednesday as a stolen opportunity to share my latest food cravings and tasty bites.

The beautiful brick and glass factory where Scharffen Berger Chocolate used to be made in Berkeley (before Hershey took it over and closed it) has sat empty since 2009 with the exception of a tiny cafe connected to the front of the building. Eventually that cafe closed as well.

A few months ago a new Vietnamese restaurant called Mint Leaf.  We pass it nearly every night on our way home and finally last week we gave it a try.  The food was wonderful, fresh and delectable including a wide variety of options for spring rolls which I thought was very cool.  We tried two including the one above with grilled pork and lemon grass – yum!
