Friday Food Foto – Sometimes you just gotta be bad

Location: Il Pirata: 16th St @ Utah St. Potrero Hill, San Francisco, CA 94107 (drink here, don’t eat here).

The tightness of my jeans tells me that I absolutely should not be eating things like this, but hey, sometimes you gotta be bad!  Which is exactly what I was at a co-worker’s birthday lunch this week.  I wish I could say it was worth it, but it was a lousy burger (although I liked the fries).

It may be my last one for awhile as I have six weeks to get bathing suit ready!

More Tasty Tidbits:

From Oh Joy: Point Reyes blue cheese on crispy bagel tops with a dab of Blackberry jam or Fig spread….

From the Kitchn: Anise-Scented Fig & Date Swirls

From Framed Cooks: Weekend Bolognese

From David Lebovitz: Thai Green Curry

How about you?  What have you been eating lately?

Comments

  1. youd have better luck in Paris for burgers :) lately I’ve been on a ravioli kick, don’t ask me why!

  2. @Lindsey, I don’t eat them very often at all, only from time to time, but the alternatives at the particular “restaurant” weren’t any better so I was trying to pick something to minimize the risk :-) Ravioli…so many good options to explore!
