Bittersweet

BittersweetI first I became acquainted with Paris in 1989.

However this Fall it has been 20 years that I became madly and deeply in love with Paris.

A place that has a hold on my heart like no other.

A place that completely transform me whenever I visit.

It’s presence in my life has been a constant, even when there have long been periods of time between visits.

Time does not diminish this love affair.

Each trip is amazing, every moment cherished and enjoyed to its fullest capacity.

It has to be because there is always an ending, the story fades each and every time, its an inevitability that comes with loving something from afar.

There is always the return.

And it is always bittersweet.
