Just got back from dim sum, a New year’s tradition my husband and I started last year. While passing dumplings we reviewed 2008, giving the second half of the year a definite thumb’s down. We had a fantastic year in 2007, the best of my life, so I am pretty happy 2008 was not any worse than what it was. We discussed our wishes for 2009, they are cautious.
Me personally, I am excited to have a lot going on, particularly in January. Maybe too much, but hey, I hate to be bored! This month I will be:
>>Participating in NaBloPoMo again. The theme for January is CHANGE. This is a commitment to post everyday for the 31 days of Janaury.
>>Starting my 365 days of grace project. I have set up another blog to document my daily 5 simple things that I am thankful. It is an exercise that allows me to focus on the tiny moments of pleasure or people in life and each day. Remarking that no matter how crazy life gets there is grace in simple things.
>>Starting my 40 by 40 project, more to come on that in a few days.
>>Launching my new business by the end of the month stay tuned!
